After a successful launch of +J by Jil Sander for UNIQLO, I guess the investors saw the potential for Sander’s original namesake brand to go just a tad bit cheaper…

Going into its 2nd season, Jil Sander Navy is getting better!

This collection is obviously tapping on a working lady’s frame of mind.  The overall collection is minimal, clean and DEMURE!  Although the skirts are cut a little above-the-knees, yet the silhouette is youthful; dresses are cinged high on the waist with a girly touch; not forgetting the gorgeous shoes!!!!!!!!!!  A brand that’s definitely worth an investment!!!

Miuccia Prada is a legend!

Her talent is incredible, she works to revamp herself every single season!  You can’t quite tell what’s she’s going to do next.  As Spring-Summer 2012 fills up the racks at the moment, she already pulled out a collection that I bet all her fans CAN’T wait to buy!!!

For SS12, she goes flare and boxy… but for FW12, she goes LEAN and LONG!!!

Precise tailoring is the key to the season just as Prada’s men’s FW12 collection.

The intermissions of the all-black looks are much needed as Prada sends out look after look of PRINTS-on-PRINTS.  The digitization of the vintage prints is a show-stopper especially the prints are extended to her range of leather goods as well.  Not forgetting the gorgeous platform shoes… I WANT THEM!!!

Proenza Schouler is getting COOLER every season!

Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough are probably one of the best designer-DUOs in the world besides Domenico Dolce-Stefano Gabbana (Dolce & Gabbana) and Kate Mulleavy-Laura Mulleavy (Rodarte).

This Fall-Winter 2012, the duo is taking American sportswear to the next level.  Differentiating themselves from Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors and Alexander Wang, Proenza Schouler are most noticeable for their fabric- and pattern-making techniques. 

The P.S. girl is the epitome of COOL!

The girl exudes an extraordinary energy that begs to differ!  Her attention to fabrication and designs is what she opts for.  This season’s breakthrough has got to be the PRINTs in the latter chapter of the runway - the perfect blend of the East-Asian art and Western silhouette (not forgetting the beautiful texture of the fabrications throughout the collection.  I truly adore these boys’ talent in innovating.

Comes a stunning collection that is heavily beaded, embroidered and finished with ultra-luxurious fabric!    The fit for the entire collection is very fitted to the body and the black-red-maroon palette is grand with a slight sense of mystery.  Speaking of mystery, it is one element that is FRESH in this Wu’s collection.  Jason’s designs have always been known to be pretty, beautiful and ultra-feminine.  This time around, he is experimenting with the utilitarian concept and the idea is especially apparent in his range of tops and jackets.  Keeping the Jason Wu’s spirit, it’s a another smash hit for working-class ladies who are looking for pieces that will last a lifetime, Jason Wu is the way to go!!!
